ABSOLUTLEY CORRECT!!!
Except if a human has licked it first, this can be overlicked by an animal - They wont touch then!!

Had a lovely piece of Honey and Sunflower seed bread off a plate on the sofa arm while mum answered the phone, well worth the banishment to the kitchen

Good point Sam. The overlick rule (so much more interesting than the offside rule).
